By default, Leap Second will store your entries locally on your app. With this configuration, all entries will be lost if you delete the app, do a factory reset, or change your device.

Media backup starts the moment you enable it. Previous uploads will not automatically back up.

Old device available for Backup

If you changed your device and still have access to your old device, look at this article listing options to recover entries.


Lost device, factory reset, disabled App Photos or Leap Second Cloud

If you did not enable Leap Second Cloud before changing your phone, deleting the app, or doing a factory reset, you won't be able to recover your entries.

Leap Second Cloud is a Pro feature that enables Cloud and Local storage.

Your entries are linked safely to your Leap Second account with this feature. If you change your phone, delete the app, or do a factory reset, you can retrieve everything by logging into your account.
